Naming

In the Garden of Eden, God brought every beast before Adam to be named. To this day, as far as I know, those beasts still have that same name. Translation: We all have the same power that Adam had on that day, the power to name people, places, and events that we are faced with.

"Your words have the power to create or abort," – E. Bernard Jordan

Some times certain events happen in our lives and we are quick to name it something bad or evil or this one always gets me going, the devil. So that means that you believe in more than one power.

Could it be that God presents us with certain situations to test our faith? Could it be that He brings the situations before us so that we can give it name, to define its purpose in our lives?

Out of every circumstance is a lesson to be learned, a good to be acknowledged. However, YOU must be open and use your spiritual eyes to see it; discern it.

Choices

In every situation, there is a lesson to be learned if you choose to see it. You will either play the victim or the victor. Your role determines whether you will move in inspiration or desperation. When you operate out of inspiration, you are operating according to the Spirit. You are inspired/in-Spirit, being led from within, by intuition which prompts you to accentuate the positive in what may appear to be a disaster. Inspiration comes equipped with a level of spiritual discernment which enables you to recognize the situation and redirect your thoughts accordingly. You become the victor!

What must be realized is that sometimes blessings come in unlikely packages. So, will you reject the blessing because it did not come to you wrapped in your choice of wrapping paper? Or will you recognize it in its form, embrace it, and thank God for the opportunity to be a living testimony to the masses? “Be a living testimony to the masses? What is she talking about?” You know as well as I do that when you are presented with what looks like the end of the world, “everyone and their mother” are watching you to see how you are going to react to the situation? “Why?” So they can talk about you. If you know like I do, you will embrace that thing and behave as if it is the best thing since sliced bread. “Why?” Because, if they don’t think you’re crazy, you are not on your assignment.
